Johnny Lee Hebert
November 25, 1955 - August 6, 2023
Johnny Lee Hebert passed away on Sunday morning August 6, 2023 in Franklinton, Louisiana, at the age of 67. Johnny was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 25, 1955 to the late Elmer Hebert and Zular Hebert Denneau. Johnny was a man that could do just about anything with his hands. He drove trucks, did mechanic work, welding, and carpentry. Johnny was a simple man that was content with what the Lord had given him. He was a very mild mannered, slow to speak, and quick to listen type of man. He enjoyed spending time with his best friends Bro. Walter and Mrs. Martha Vernon, and Brandon and Tonya Howard and their families. He was a faithful member at Richardson Baptist Church. He loved his church family, and his church family loved him. Rarely did he miss a church service, and he was always early. You knew he was getting close to the parking lot by the sound of his vehicles. They were all loud. Whoever was outside or sitting under the front porch of the church house would say, “Here comes Bro. Johnny.” Johnny enjoyed riding his motorcycle. The Lord saved Johnny in 2001 and radically transformed his life. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new,” II Corinthians 5:17.
Johnny is survived by: A sister: Linda Hebert Temple; Brothers: Kenneth Hebert and Adam Hebert; Step-children: Carmin Slade Wilson, Doyle Slade, and Emry Slade; And numerous step-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Barber Hebert.
