Tanda Dunaway Schilling
July 7, 1955 - June 18, 2025
Tanda Dunaway Schilling, a resident of Franklinton, passed away at her residence. She was an active member of Clifton Baptist Church. She was employed at Magee Financial for 21 years. She had a beautiful yard with many flowers where she enjoyed sitting outside and watching the birds. She has been on many trips and enjoyed the people that she spent time traveling with here in the states and abroad. She was known as the U S Flag police for the many places in Franklinton that displayed flags.
Survived by: Companion and Caregiver: Ricky Magee; Son: Blandon Lee Creel; Stepson and daughter in law: Kevin and Missy Creel; 2 Stepdaughters: Shemain Holcomb, Shania Thomas; 2 Sisters and a brother-in-law: Patricia and Mark Fullmer, Deborah Dutton; Nephew: Jed Dutton; 3 Sisters in law: Nell Webb, Francis Schilling, Doris Schilling; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Luther Lee “Luke” and Effie Dillon Dunaway, her husband Ronnie “Goat” Schilling, brothers in law and sisters in law Cilmon and Nell Schilling, J W “Doc” and Eleanor “Pete” Schilling, Donnie Schilling, Abner Schilling, Juanita and Dorman Corkern and A.W. and Mamie Burch.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 9 am until 12 noon. A funeral service will be held at noon with Rev. Mike Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.
