The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs your help identifying and locating two suspects accused of stealing washing machines from Cutrer’s Appliance & Furniture on June 17, 2024.
The owner of Cutrer’s Appliance & Furniture on Highway 16 East, Amite, Louisiana reported that two men were caught on surveillance video pulling up to the back of the business in a black SUV with a trailer around 3 a.m. The pair are then seen loading up several scrap washing machines in addition to a Maytag 565 washing machine that was under repair. All of the appliances were located on the exterior of the business and have a total value of around $500.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone with information about this theft, those responsible, or the whereabouts of the appliances, to contact the Criminal Investigations Office at 985-748-3335.
