RCC Captain Randall Williams Graduates From “STAR” Program

B.B. Rayburn Correctional Center's  Captain Randall Williams is one of the Louisiana Department of Correction's first graduates of the “Security Trainer Academy Readiness” Program, also known as the “STAR” Program. The “STAR” Program is comprised of two parts. Part 1 of this training program is an instructional day covering multiple training topics pertinent to the success of the delivery of training content in courses taught by Security Academy Trainers who work full time in the various DOC Facility Training Academies. Part 2 of this training program provides the participants with the opportunity to deliver training content of course material from courses that they normally teach in the Training Academy. 

The first "STAR" program graduated seven individuals on Tuesday (April 9, 2024), under the direction and training of DOC Training and Development Deputy Director, John DiCarlo.  The graduates include Lieutenant Colonel Brittany Allen (LSP), Major Travis Gaddy (LSP), Master Sergeant Shunlekee Pendleton (LSP), Major Lorella Pierce (EHCC), Captain Dexter Walker (EHCC), Major Takiyah Sanders (DCI), and Captain Randall Williams (RCC).
