1) Last week on January 26, 2023, the Pike County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle accident. Responding deputies found the vehicle unoccupied. While on scene, deputies were advised of an individual at the emergency room that was involved in a vehicle accident. The investigation determined that Marlon Johnson, Jr. was in possession of approximately 73 dosage units of MDMA (Ecstasy). Marlon Johnson, Jr. was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $50,000.00 Surety Bond.
2) Last week on January 28, 2023, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office conducted a safety checkpoint on McComb-Holmesville Road. Upon making contact with the driver later identified as Damian Nelson, deputies observed the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and deputies located approximately 200 dosage units of MDMA (Ecstasy), 4 firearms and a misdemeanor amount of marijuana. Damian Nelson was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $100,000.00.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
