Andrew Foster
September 13, 1941 — August 15, 2026
Mr. Andrew Foster was born on September 13, 1941 to the union of the late Mr. William T. Foster Sr. and Mrs. Edna Foster. He received his formal education at Wesley High School in Louisiana.
He accepted Christ at an early age, he was a faithful member and deacon at New Congregational Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California until moving to Angie, Louisiana, where he and his loving wife Frenchie Mae Foster who precedes him in death became faithful members of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. A.S. Nelson and continued his membership there under the leadership of Pastor Bryon Muse, He loved attending Sunday School and Wednesday night Bible Study, he was a faithful member and Usher until his health no longer permitted him to be.
Andrew moved to California in the 1960's. He worked for P.I.E. Trucking Company and Yellow Freight Trucking Company, until he retired in the early 2000's
In 2004 Andrew and Frenchie moved to Angie, Louisiana with their granddaughter Quanita. He loved going fishing, hunting and cooking, BBQ and fried turkey were his specialties. He enjoyed family gatherings where he would be in Charge of frying the fish. He worked in his garden where he grew watermelon ,corn, field peas, greens and much more. He also raised cows and hogs.
Andrew's father William T. Sr., mother Edna, sister: Helen and Devora, eldest son Milcon "Big Michael" and his wife Frenchie Mae preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his sons; Anthony, Mario(Wendell), and Rayshon, One brother, William T. Foster Jr., nine granddaughters: Quanita, Amunique, Ashley, Ahlijah, Lanae, Marquinn, Markeisha, Kapri and Sierra, eleven greatchildren: Barry IV, Khole, Zoe, Serenity, Kayden, Xia'mor, MiiLani, Mii'Asia, D'iajah, Mi;Dareon, and Ava, and one special daughter-in-law Tanya(Anthony), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on September 4, 2026 at Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
The Funeral Service will start at 12:00 PM on September 5, 2026 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Angie.
