Rita Evonne Mizell Howze, age 73 and of Springville, TN, passed away August 23, 2026. Rita was loved by so many and will be missed very much.
She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Mizell Jr.; brother, Willie Ottis Mizell III; mother, Edith Merl Fonseca; brother, Greg Pickard, sister Peggy Pickard.
She is survived by her son, Terry Howze of Pensacola, FL; granddaughters, Allissa Howze of Biloxi, MS, Kloe Howze of Bogalusa, LA, and Elizabeth Howze of Kenner, LA; stepmother, Helen Mizell of Bogalusa, LA; two brothers; Marty Mizell of Bogalusa, LA and David Pickard of Gatesville, TX as well as a sister Connie Morgan of Bogalusa, LA.
Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home in Nashville, TN is in charge of arrangements.
