Elnora Martin Collins

With heartfelt love and deep sorrow, the family of Elnora Martin Collins announces her passing on March 20, 2026, at the age of 75.
She was born to the late Joseph and Birdie Mae Martin on December 26, 1950, Elnora lived a life full of grace, kindness, and dedicated love for her family and those around her.
She united in marriage to Eddie Will Collins Sr. on September 15, 1968, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion. Elnora graduated from Wesley Ray High School, the home of the Eagles, in 1970.
Elnora united with Center Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Linwood Bolton and there she remained a faithful servant under the leadership of Dr. Sidney Jones, until her health started to decline.
Her life’s work included New Orleans Furniture Factory, Great Southern Motel, Home Health Care, and Pride And Hope Ministries where she thrived with the enjoyment of bringing smiles as she cared for her patients. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and taking great pride in keeping her lawn immaculate, adorned with flowers and beautiful light displays throughout the year—especially during Christmas. She was known for her radiant smile, her love, and the laughter she brought to everyone she encountered.
She leaves behind her loving children Marilyn (Zachary) Harry (Southaven, MS), Eddie Collins Jr. (Casa Grande, AZ,) Keotha Collin (Angie, LA), LaKisha (Aquarius) Crumedy (Oklahoma City, OK), and Stephanie (De'Andre') Sheridan (Bogalusa, LA). Her legacy continues through her 27 cherished grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; her siblings: Elaine (Micheal) Raines (Florida), Joyce (Thelton) Moses (Gulfport, MS), Charles (Carolyn) Martin (Angie, LA), Catherine Martin (Amite, LA), Larry (Yvonne) Martin (Houston, TX), Jimmie Martin (Angie, LA), Paul (Gwen) Martin (Florida), Evelyn (Douglas) Morris (Oklahoma City, OK) and Russell (Kimberly) Martin (Dallas, TX); God siblings, Robert Earl Morris (Bogalusa, LA), Douglas Morris (Oklahoma City, OK), Patricia Morris (Angie, LA), and Victoria Morris (Angie, LA) and a host of loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and community, for whom she held a special place in her heart.
Elnora will be deeply missed by her extended family members and dear friends—especially her best friend, stylist, and superior decorator, Janice Moses, and her entrusted confidant, Eloise Bickham.
Elnora's life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Elnora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie Will Collins Sr., her parents, Joseph and Birdie Mae Martin, one brother, Joseph Martin Jr., and one sister, Nellie Fae Martin and one grandson, La’Devin Paul Conerly.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10:00AM - 12:00AM followed by the funeral service at 12:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home 809 East 3rd Street Bogalusa, LA 70427 with Rev. Dr. Linza Cotton - Pastor Officiating.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
