This past Friday, the Franklinton Branch Library was full of fuzzy slippers, face masks, junk food,
and fun. The Teen Programs' Coordinator, Savannah, and the rest of the library staff hosted a sleepover themed Teen Night. Different areas were set up around the branch for movies, video games, fingernail painting, crafting, puzzling, and many other activities. In classic slumber party style, both teens and staff donned their best pj's, ate copious amounts of junk food, and had an amazing time making memories and building relationships.
The library would like to thank the Washington Parish Friends of the Library for their support in making programs such as this possible.
If you or your organization would like to contribute to future events please contact the library at 985-839-7805. Their next Teen Night is scheduled for March 28 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Make sure to wear green as attendants will be playing gaelic games and participating in different aspects of the culture.
