January Storytimes at the Franklinton Branch Library were all about bears. Young patrons wrapped up the month with the book What Will I Do Without You? On the surface the book is about a bear going into hibernation, but through this simple story themes of separation, bullies, and making new friends are covered. With the staff they sang a song, made their own bear hibernating in a cave, and ate snacks.
The library would like to thank the Washington Parish Friends of the Library for providing funds to make programs such as this possible.
Join the fun every Thursday at 3:30 in February where love will be the theme.
