Barbara Ann Neely Borel

December 8, 1941 - December 26, 2024

Barbara Neely Borel entered into the presence of the Lord on December 26, 2024.

She was a believer of Christ and had many talents and interests including painting, gardening, and singing.

Barbara was born on December 8, 1941 in Batchelor, LA. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves behind her five loving children, Dwayne Borel (Elena), Dinah Corkern (James), Dawn Rushing (Reid), Dean Borel (Terri), and Dale Kuhn (Rusty); 14 grandchildren, Robbie Borel, Matthew Borel (Anna), Lacie Borel, Daniil Kobba, Stanislav Kobba, Corey Fuller (Dustin), Alex McDaniel (Brody), Mandy Gregory (Kevin), Natalie Stringer (Garrett), Chrissy Borel, Jacob Borel (Tori), Brittanay Chester (Mark), Victoria Buras (Justin), and Veronica Williams (Jacob); 14 great grand children, a sister-in-law, Ione Neely, numerous nieces, nephews and a special niece and caregiver Sheila McCormick and Eva Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert “Bobbie” Borel, her parents, Wilson Orzy Neely and Reecie Barbara Saucier Neely; and siblings Peggy Rollins (Cecil), Charles Neely, and Floyd Neely.

Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Sunday December 29, beginning at 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with chapel services to follow. The Rev. Rusty Kuhn will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens, located on Spring Valley Road in Bogalusa.
