Detectives Investigate Pumpkin Center Burglary

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspect of an attempted burglary in the Pumpkin Center area of Hammond. Sheriff Daniel Edwards says on March 15, 2024, an unknown white male attempted to enter a residence on Pumpkin Center Road. 

As seen in security footage, the suspect pulled up to the residence driving a navy blue Chevrolet Silverado and proceeded to jump the homeowner's fence. The subject is then observed walking around the residence and attempts to enter the back door.

The subject is observed to be a white male, seen wearing a blue shirt and gray shorts with tan camouflage Crocs.
