Representative John Wyble (R-Franklinton) has been appointed to serve on the Louisiana House Committees on Civil Law and Procedures, Agriculture, and House and Governmental Affairs by Speaker Phillip DeVillier.
As a first-term legislator, Rep. Wyble’s appointments on these crucial committees signal his office will have a significant role in defending the district’s largest job creator, the agricultural industry, advocating for lower insurance rates, and protecting the voice of rural communities throughout the redistricting process.
“Since day one of my campaign, I promised to be a steadfast advocate for our rural communities and the families who make Washington Parish great,” said Rep. Wyble. “These committee assignments are the first stepping stones to fulfilling that promise. While the 73rd Legislature has a tall order ahead, I’m confident we’ll begin to make lasting changes that lay the foundation for a brighter future.”
Rep. Wyble intends to open two legislative offices in Franklinton and Bogalusa to increase opportunities for constituent feedback and participation. He encourages Washington Parish citizens to actively participate in the legislative process by emailing his office at hse075@legis.la.gov with any questions, concerns, or ideas on legislative matters.
