"A Night of Giving" Event to Benefit Local Child Abuse and Trafficking Victims

Rotary Club of Franklinton and Rotary Club of Bogalusa are teaming up to host their first-ever black tie gala, A Night of Giving, on Saturday, March 23 – all to benefit local child abuse and trafficking victims served by Children’s Advocacy Center - Hope House! The event will take place from 6-11PM at The Coke Plant Wedding and Event Venue in Bogalusa, LA.

Tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple and can be purchased at https://support.cachopehouse.org/rotary

A Night of Giving will feature catering by Bourne's Restaurant, an open bar, live musical entertainment by Back 40 Small Town Band, and a silent auction.

The Franklinton and Bogalusa Rotary Clubs plan to partner with a different local nonprofit each year for this gala fundraiser – an organization that aligns with their mission and the community’s greatest needs. In 2022, Hope House conducted 93 forensic interviews with child abuse victims in Washington Parish alone. That was a significant increase from prior years. To address this growing issue and better serve children and families within the parish, Hope House opened the doors to a new location in Bogalusa at the end of 2023.

“We are so grateful to be included as the nonprofit beneficiary of this inaugural A Night of Giving fundraiser,” said Thomas Mitchell, Executive Director of Hope House. “Every dollar we receive from this initiative will directly impact the life and future of a local child abuse victim. Without the support of the Franklinton and Bogalusa Rotary Clubs and others in our community, these children would not receive the healing and justice they so desperately need and deserve.”
