Ester Lee Jefferson

March 11, 1945 - November 20, 2023

Ester Lee Jefferson was born March 11, 1945 to the late Zenia Bickham Jefferson and Thomas Harvey Jefferson, Sr. She was the youngest daughter.

Ester attended Wesley Ray High School. She graduated in the Class of 1964.

She attended Wesley Ray United Methodist Church. She accepted Christ at a young age, She enjoyed church service and attended regular service until her health failed. Ester was well known and respected by her family and community. She was faithful and loving.

Ester was blessed with one daughter and her grandchildren.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping and visiting family and friends. She was also blessed with Godchildren and her furbabies who will miss her dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Felisha Jefferson and two grandchildren Jalessa Jefferson and Zenia Jefferson all of Angie. She also leaves to cherish her memories one sister Ruth M. Morman of Angie, LA. Four brothers, Freddie H. Jefferson, Marvin (Atrin) Jefferson of Angie, LA. Cleveland (Myrtle) Jefferson of Baton Rouge, LA and Rev. Julius (Carol) of Pikesville, MD. She also leaves three sisters-in-law Joannie Jefferson of Angie, LA., Clarissa Jefferson of Jackson, MS, and Aona Jefferson of Upper Marlboro, MD.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas H. Jefferson, Sr. and Zenia Jefferson six sisters: Daisy, Lottie, Willie, Julius Willie Mae and Naomi and six brothers Marshall Sr., Joseph, Lucious, Thomas Jr., Nevers and Clarence Sr. and one grandchild Zaria

Ester was also blessed with God Children Normekia,Tamiara, Keshia, LaDarius, Bridgette, Kenneshia, LaTerrius and Eddie Crumedy and the late Thomas H. Jefferson III. Her furbabies are Zoey, Chanel, Dior and Chloe

Services will be on December 4, 2023 at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:45 AM. The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM.

Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
