Frances Pierce Crawford

Frances Pierce Crawford, age 100 and of Tylertown, MS, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 in McComb, MS. She was born Friday, March 16, 1923 in Warnerton, LA.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery. Reverend Justin Knight will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, and successful business woman. Her passion was her family and making sure they were taken care of. Mrs. Crawford took great pride in providing a warm and loving home where she made a nutritious meal for her family every day. She had a deep Christian faith and was a longtime member of Tylertown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Dr. Everett Howell Crawford, Sr.; father Clement Edward Pierce; mother Mary Eunice Brock Pierce.

Survivors include her son Dr. Everett Howell Crawford, Jr. (Dr. Virginia Moffitt);  daughters Anne Howell Crawford, and Jane Crawford Ard (Tony);  grandchildren Warren Ard, Olivia McCay (Jim), Dr. Zachariah Lea Crawford, DMD (Dr. Jodi Crawford DVM), Clay Howell Crawford, and Ellis Reed Crawford;  great grandchildren Braden Everett McCay, Alexis Jane McCay, Cole Everett Crawford, and Aubrey James Crawford; 1st cousin Sharon Brock Creel and George Carso; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family. 

Pallbearers will be Zack Crawford, Clay Crawford, Ellis Crawford, Warren Ard, Jim McCay, and Braden McCay.
