Alyce Jean Hannah Knight

February 28, 1957 - October 5, 2023

In loving memory of our mother and wife, Alyce Hannah Knight, who passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Robert “Bob” Knight and loving mother of Jennifer and Lindsey. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Growing up, Alyce was always there for us. She was a woman of faith, loved music and playing the flute as well as an avid sports fan- Geaux Tigers and Saints! And loved trips to her favorite city of New Orleans with her husband. But most importantly she instilled in us the importance of family.

Alyce is predeceased in death by her father, Larry Hannah and mother, Eileen McLain, as well as, her brother, Brian Hannah. 

Alyce is survived by her husband, Bob Knight of Bogalusa, LA; her two daughters, Jennifer McLain Armond of Bossier City, LA (children Gabe Preston and Ella Layne Armond), Lindsey Knight Sandifer and husband, Derrick Sandifer of Hernando, MS (children Hannah McKenzie and McKade Knight Sandifer); and her sister, Lesa Bodnar of Covington, LA.

We will be scattering Alyce’s ashes at a private family ceremony that Alyce requested.
