Tuesday (July 18, 2023) evening, Slidell Police attempted to stop a motorcycle, which was driven by 26-year-old Patrick Woods of Slidell.
Woods had an outstanding warrant for Battery of a Dating Partner and fled from officers. After a short pursuit, Woods crashed his motorcycle along a dirt road (receiving very minor scrapes) and was taken into custody. Woods was booked into the Slidell City Jail on the charges of Outstanding Warrant for Battery of a Dating Partner, Flight from an Officer, Aggravated Obstruction of a Highway, No Vehicle Registration, Possession of Schedule I Narcotics, No Insurance, Suspended Drivers License, and No Motorcycle Endorsement.
