Calvin Mike Adams

May 27, 1957 - July 8, 2023

Calvin Mike Adams, age 66 and a resident of Franklinton, died Saturday afternoon July 8, 2023 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mike was a longtime truck driver, hauling gravel and other items locally. As a young man he traveled on the Rodeo circuit, participating in the bull riding events. Mike was an excellent handyman and liked to build and fix things for his family and friends. He enjoyed mowing his grass and working in his yard. He liked to plant a garden each year, collect different types of guns, watch his favorite crime drama TV shows and take care of his animals.

Survived by: 4 Children and their families; Sister and Brother in law: Mary and Greg Crain of Franklinton; Brother and Sister in law: Charles Wayne and Sue Passman of Franklinton; 4 Nieces and Nephews: Ashley and Jeremy Lavignette, Brandy and Andrew Graves, Jessica and Kenny Brewer, Mark and Kathy Crain; Special great-nieces and great-nephew: Ameigh, Bella, Julien or “Beans” as Mike called him; Also numerous other great-nieces and great-nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Meadows Adams and parents Charlie and Inez Passman.

A memorial service for his family will be planned at a later date
