There is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect from now until 8PM CDT for areas mainly along the I-12 corridor from the Miss. River to the AL/MS border and north. Some thunderstorms that develop this afternoon may produce strong gusty winds of 60 MPH and 1 inch hail. Heavy rainfall and dangerous lightning will accompany the strong storms.
