Benton Bernard Kennedy, Jr.
September 9, 1960 - June 1, 2023
Mr. Benton Bernard Kennedy, Jr, age 62, passed away at his home in Angie, LA. He was a life-long resident of Angie and a member of Angie Baptist Church. Benton was a history buff, Civil War enthusiast, and loved country and bluegrass music. He was a proud member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Benton is survived by one sister: Cheryl (Billy) Watts; a nephew: Billy Watts, Jr.; one niece: Christina (Mark) Lott; two great-nephews: Mark Aaron Lott, Jr., and Lucas Lott; an uncle: John Thornhill; one aunt: Jacquelaine Kennedy; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Bernard and Carolyn Kennedy; four grandparents: Bonnie and Carl Kennedy and Aline and Edward Thornhill; and two uncles: Donald Kennedy and Edward (Laura) Thornhill.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. On Saturday, June 3, 2023, a visitation at Angie Baptist Church will start from 10AM until time of service at 1:30PM. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Angie, LA.
