Margie Thomas Passman

June 29, 1928 - April 10, 2023

Margie Thomas Passman, age 94 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Monday morning April 10, 2023 at The Trace in Covington. She worked as a beautician for nearly 70 years, retiring from serving her beloved clients and friends at 87 years of age. Margie was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton and also a member of the Winterset Club. She enjoyed going shopping with her friends and going out to eat. Margie also liked to ride around the fields of the family property and look at the pretty pecan tree orchard.

Survived by: 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: John R. and Nancy Passman, Robin Dale Passman; Grandchildren: John Robert Passman, Stephen Passman, Melissa Passman; Great-grandchildren: Brody Passman, Leighton Passman, Kyler Passman; Also a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends

She was preceded in death by an infant son Sherwood Passman, parents Otto Thomas and Ruby Blackwell Thomas, brothers Larue Thomas, R.O. Thomas, sister Louise T. Frazier and many other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday April 15th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Joey Miller and Rev. Jeffrey Conn officiating. Entombment will follow in Ellis Cemetery.
