Phillip Ray Lorio

February 12, 1971 - April 7, 2023

Phillip Ray Lorio was born February 12, 1971, to the late Phillip Ned Lorio and Evelyn Starns Lorio. He departed from this world on April 7, 2023. Everyone who knew him lovingly referred to him as “Ray-Ray”. He attended Bogalusa High School where he graduated in 1989. His family and friends are sad that he is no longer with them but find comfort that he is no longer bound by the chains that held him down for so many years.

Phillip is survived by his step father Karl (Elizabeth) Starns III. His step mother June Lorio. One brother Chad Lorio. One sister Tecia (Glen) Ammons. Two aunts Vaudie Whitfield and Vickie Whitfield Baughman. Uncle Ronnie (Dana) Whitfield. Four nephews Chad Lorio, Jr., Hunter Williams, Jared Phelps, and Jacob Rhoades. Two step sisters Circe Bridges and Brandi Starns. And a step brother Karl Starns IV.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents Phillip Ned Lorio and Evelyn Starns Lorio. His paternal grandparents Ben Lorio and Betty Lorio. Maternal grandparents Herman Whitfield and Doris Whitfield. Paternal uncles Joseph Lorio and Salvador Lorio. One uncle Ronnie Baughman.

The Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM on April 12, 2023 at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, Louisiana.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
