Efrain "Frank" Lugo, Sr.
August 31, 1937 - May 30, 2022
Efrain "Frank" Lugo, Sr., age 84 and a resident of the Bonner Creek Community, near Franklinton passed away early Monday morning May 30. 2022 at the Ochsner Medical Center. He was a resident of Harahan for 45 years and had lived in Washington Parish for the last 17 years. Frank was retired after a long career as an air conditioning technician. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and will be forever missed by his loved ones and close friends.
Survived by: Wife of 62 years: Jean Gonsoulin Lugo of Franklinton; 3 Children and Spouses: Efrain “E.J.” Lugo, Jr. and Anne Lugo of Destrehan, Lisa and Jerry “J.D.” Newsome of Franklinton, Jamie and Jason Fleetwood of Hammond; 4 Granddaughters: Erica Parrack, Paige Lugo, Kaitlyn Lugo, Lydia Fleetwood; 2 Great-grandsons and 1 Great-granddaughter; 4 Sisters: Edna Cash, Martha Bender, Edda Gendusa, Josephine Walls; Also numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents Luis Lugo and Margarita Velez Lugo.
A private memorial service will be planned in the near future.
