The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is actively investigating the homicide of Kawon Moore, which occurred in the afternoon hours on May 2, 2022, on Pansy Street in the Abita Nursery Subdivision. STPSO deputies were dispatched in reference to gunshots being heard and located the body with what appeared to be gunshot wounds, inside a vehicle on Pansy Street.

There is an up to $2,500 cash reward available for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the perpetrator(s). You do not have to give your name or testify to receive the case reward. If you can tell us where the gun used is located and we are able to pick this up and match it to the crime, an additional $1,000 will be added to the reward. You may also receive an additional $200 per crime match from ballistics if the weapon was used in previous crimes, up to a maximum of $2,000.
