Barbara Jane Hart

November 14, 1946 - March 7, 2022

Barbara Jane Hart, born to the late Jeanette McDuffy Quillens and Johnny Quillens Sr. in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the third of five children and was married to George Larry Hart, Sr. Through this union were born ten children. 

She worked at the Holiday Inn, in New Orleans, La. on Royal St. for 21 years. She later retired to Franklinton, La. Her spare time was spent helping many single mothers with their children while they went to school and worked. She helped take care of many sick relatives until their transition. She help raise a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. As they got older, she began to spend her spare time decorating her shed and decorating her patio. Barbara lived a very lively, loving and giving life. She thought more of others than she did of herself. 

Barbabra is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Johnnie Mae Forbes, Jeanette Quillens, and Lorraine Ursula Quillens. 

Always in memories of her are one surviving sibling her brother, Johnny (Alice, Cookie) Quillens, Jr.; her children, Victoria (Steve) Barnes, Charlene Bunch, Melissa Bunch, Gerald (Jmariel) Bunch, Edward (Cassandra) Bunch, George (Aricka) Larry, Jr. Hart,  Bobby Hart, Kevin (Sonya) Hart, Keith (Netabya) Hart, Keoka (Samuel) Grays; Also 50 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.

A Memorial Service was held March 12, 2022.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
