Loretta Ann Pittman

January 24, 1951 - August 25, 2021

Loretta Ann Pittman, departed this life on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Covington, LA., at the age of 70.  She was born to the late Lloyd & Essie Nichols Lewis on January 24, 1951. She was a long-time resident of Angie. Loretta was a faithful member of Greater Center Baptist Church of Angie under the leadership of Sydney Jones.

She was married to Alcus Pittman, Sr. for 28 years before he passed, with this union they were blessed with six children: Deborah (Jeffery) Young of Raymond, MS, Rev. Wilbur (Cynthia) Morris of Sandy Hook, MS, Alcus (Tessie) Pittman, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Titus (Lakesha) Pittman and Brandi (Isaac) Hickman of Jacksonville, FL, Arnold (Talonda) Pittman of Covington, LA. Later in life she married Jason Marks, Jr. and was a bonus mom to Jason Marks, III of Angie, LA and Jermaine Marks of Lakewood, CO, a loving Goddaughter Stephanie Sheridan. She has 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as a host of sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Alcus Pittman, Sr; her parents; two brothers, Luther Earl Lewis and Richard Dean Lewis; and a brother-in-law Alton Pittman.

Drive through viewing will be Friday, September 10, from 4:00-6:00 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 11, at 11:00 at the Dillon Cemetery 62007 Hwy 438, Angie, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Sydney Jones.
