Roland Stephen "Joe" David, Jr.
October 8, 1961 - September 7, 2021
Roland Stephen "Joe" David, Jr., age 59, passed away Tuesday afternoon September 7, 2021 at his home near Franklinton. He was a native of New Orleans and former longtime resident of Westwego before recently moving to Washington Parish. Roland was a mechanic and worked at Gresse’s Automotive for 17 years. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and he loved fishing, duck hunting and deer hunting. He also enjoyed watching the car races of the NHRA.
Survived by: 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Angelle and Brennan Camardelle of Avondale, Jenelle and Patrick Tomberlin of Ponchatoula; 2 Grandchildren: Mila Camardelle, Cooper Camardelle; Brother and Sister in law: Chris and Sandy David; 2 Sisters and a Brother in law: Sheryl Brown, Karen and Larry Holmack; Nieces: Jamie, Haley, Allie, Macey; Godchild: Heather; Also numerous other family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents Roland David, Sr. and Yvonne Molaison David
A memorial service for his family and friends will be planned in the near future.
