Katherine Lanell Brock Edwards
September 13, 1948 - March 29, 2021
On Monday night March 29, 2021, God took Katherine Lanell Brock Edwards home to be with him. Katherine was born September 9, 1948 to the late Johnny Alexander Brock and Ola Mae Elam Brock and was 72 years old. She loved making crafts, completing word searches and playing Bingo. Katherine enjoyed tending to her plants and often made pretty floral arrangements. She was an animal lover, especially her pet cats. Katherine had a big, loving heart and will truly be missed.
Survived by: Sister: Brenda Bateman of Abita Springs; Brother and Sister in law: Henry and Vanessa Brock of Mt. Hermon; Uncle and Aunt: Harmon and Cheryl Elam of Osyka, MS; Nieces: Crystal Lynn Brock of Senatobia, MS, who loving nicknamed her “Kit Kat”, Tina Conners of Vancouver, Washington; Also numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by sister Johnnie Mae Cooper, a beloved brother Jimmy Brock and nephew Preston Johnson.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday April 10th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm with Bro. Kenneth Wheeler officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Christopher Brock, Denmon Bateman, James Bateman, Lamel Sylvan, Jr.
