Darlene Theresa Allemore Hartman

November 14, 1947 - January 22, 2021

Darlene Theresa Allemore Hartman, age 73 and a resident of Franklinton, died Friday January 22, 2021 at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg after a lengthy illness. She was a longtime resident of Marrero, LA that had lived in Washington Parish for the last 15 years. Darlene was retired after a career as a cafeteria worker for the Jefferson Parish School System. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoyed making crafts. Darlene adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survived by: Daughter: Tra-Lynn Hartman of Marrero; Son and Daughter in law: Woodrow “Woody” and Jackie Hartman of Mt. Hermon; Grandchildren: Tyler Chauvin, Brock Hartman, Briannah Hartman, Brennan Hartman; Great-grandchildren: Giovanna Chauvin, Elijah Brumfield, Aurora Brumfield; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Curtis and Barbara Allemore, Lynnwood and Patsy Allemore all of Marrero; God child: Donna Williams Bruney; Also numerous sisters in law, nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert Allemore and Lillian Gros Allemore, brothers Robert Allemore, Floyd Allemore, Gale Allemore.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Saturday January 30th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm Saturday with Father Kyle Sanders officiating.
