Dorothy Ann "Dot" Champagne Baldassaro
February 21, 1934 - January 22, 2021
Dorothy Ann "Dot" Champagne Baldassaro, age 86 and a longtime resident of Marrero, La now a resident of Franklinton died Friday, January 22, 2021 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a graduate of Marrero High School as Salutatorian of her high school class. She was a homemaker and master seamstress. She was loved by many especially her family. She was a member of Ladies Red Hat Society, and Louisiana Homemakers Extension. She was longtime president and member of Ladies Altar Rosary at Holy Family Catholic Church in Franklinton, LA. She instilled love , wisdom, charity and dedication to perfect her accomplishments. May God bless her eternally.
Survived by: Husband: Joseph Baldassaro, Sr.; Daughter: Dorothy Ann Baldassaro; 4 Sons: Mike Baldassaro, Joseph Baldassaro, Jr., Johnnie Baldassaro, Frank Baldassaro; Grandchildren: Holly, Jessica, Joseph, III, Tony, Jr., Cory , Samantha, Steven, Brandon, Ryan, Trent, Joannie, Amanda, Christopher; 19 Great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a son Tony Baldassaro, Sr., her parents Leo John Baldassaro and Annie Marie Billiot Baldassaro Allo and a brother Leo John Champagne.
A graveside service will be held at 10 A.M. , Wednesday, January 27,2021 at Baldassaro Family Cemetery with Father Kyle Sanders officiating.
