Bogalusa Police Find Unresponsive Man With Drugs

On Thursday, June 27 at approximately 5:23 AM the Bogalusa Police Department received a call, reference to an unresponsive person, asleep in his vehicle while parked in a parking lot on Superior Ave. EMS was called to administer aid to the subject later identified as Steven L. Crenshaw (44) of Bogalusa. Crenshaw slowly became responsive and he seemed intoxicated but there was no odor of alcohol.  Crenshaw exited his vehicle and voluntary started emptying his pockets. Crenshaw removed from his pocket 3 pills identified as Gabapentin 660 mg. Several more pills of Gabapentin were located in a pill bottle inside the driver's door pocket. Also located in Crensha's pants pocket was suspected crystal meth. 
Crenshaw was treated by EMS personal and after it was determined that he didn't need any further medical assistance, he was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Legend Drug (Gabapentin), and Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone.
