Traffic Stop Leads to Bogalusa Woman's Arrest

On Tuesday (June 27, 2017) Bogalusa Police Officers observed a vehicle on Ave F and the driver was not wearing a seat belt.  The vehicle was occupied by the driver and 2 passengers.  Officers observed in plain view, drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. After searching the purse of Twanna Meiners, officers located 2 meth pipes, a straw with meth residue inside of it, 1 pill identified as Alprazolam, a pill identified as Acetaminophen with codeine phosphate and a small portion of Suboxone.
Meiners was arrested and charged with Possession of drug Paraphernalia. Possession of Meth, Possession of Legend Drugs, Possession of Schedule 3 drugs (Suboxone), and Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone.
