Who Dat Burglar Apprehended in Slidell

Slidell Police has arrested Jules C. Johnson for the June 12, 2016 burglary of the Who Dat Shop in Olde Town.  Police learned that two suspects wearing hoodies approached the rear of the business, found and strangled one employee behind the business causing him to pass out. While the one suspect was strangling one employee, the other suspect armed with a knife kicked in the door of another employee who lived in an apartment above the store, in a thwarted attempted to commit a burglary. The two suspects were later seen on video surveillance burglarizing another residence next to the Who Dat Shop.

Johnson was charged with Aggravated Burglary (2 counts), Second Degree Battery, and False Imprisonment. The case is still an active investigation. Another suspect is being sought and further details will be released at a later date.
