Disturbance 1. Central Subtropical Atlantic (AL91): An area of low pressure is located well to the east-northeast of Bermuda. This system is likely to become a tropical depression or storm over the next day or two as it turns east-southeastward and slows down over the central Subtropical Atlantic. Environmental conditions are expected to become unfavorable for further development later this week. Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent and formation chance through 7 days...high...80 percent.
Disturbance 2. Tropical Depression Fay is located about 1210 miles WSW of the Azores and moving SSW at 7 MPH with 35 MPH maximum sustained winds. A turn to the southwest and then to the west-southwest is expected over the next 48 hours and with little change in strength. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
