Wilson Harvey Duncan, Sr.

November 14, 1957 - September 7, 2026

Wilson Harvey Duncan, Sr., age 68 and a resident of Mount Hermon, passed away Monday morning September 7, 2026 at his home after a lengthy illness. He milked cows and did farming work for dairymen in the area for many years and he also worked as a welder for a time. Wilson loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He also enjoyed coon hunting, using bloodhounds and other tracking dogs at night. Wilson liked to watch TV news shows and spend time with his large family.

Survived by: Wife of 33 years: Lynn Whitten Duncan of Mt. Hermon; Children: Adaire Ruth Gatlin, Wilson Harvey Duncan, Jr., Adam Allen Duncan, Brock Robinson Duncan, Terry Lyn Redmond, Marshall Dean Duncan, Virginia Louise Duncan; 21 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren; Sister and Brother in law: Joyce and Wayne Stogner; Brother in law and Sister in law: Steve and Jennifer Whitten; Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

He was preceded in death by a son Woodrow Wilson Redmond, Jr., grandson Triston Wayne Redmond, parents Woodrow Wilson Duncan and Ada Dean Dillon Duncan, brother Larry Duncan, sister Sarah Stogner and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at the family home on Sunday September 13th at 3:00 pm. For more information regarding the service, please contact Louise at 225-244-4770.
