Dewitt Williams, Sr.
September 17, 1935 - September 19, 2026
Dewitt Williams, Sr., age 91, passed away at his home on September 19, 2026, surrounded by his wife and children. He was a lifelong resident of Washington Parish, with family roots in the Lee’s Creek and Plainview communities. While he owned several local businesses over his long and fulfilling life, his true passions were always faith, family, and cattle farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin G. and Eva Williams. He is survived by his wife, Joan; three children, Theresa, Dewitt, Jr., and Beth; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Arrangements will include a private service for the family.
