Judy Kay Smith

Judy Kay Smith passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at her home in Mandeville, LA. She was born in Bogalusa, LA, on December 16, 1952. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, David N. Smith, Jr., and her parents, John F. Smith and Louise Wanner.

She is survived by her daughter, Karri Lynn Snider; her son, Robert R. Snider, Jr. (Leigh); and her stepchildren, Timothy A. Smith (Glenda), Todd L. Smith, and Wendy M. Smith. Her grandchildren include Kristen Chabera, Chase Broadus, Dusty Williams, Dalton Snider, Joshua Laird, Victoria Smith, Gillian Smith, Madisen Ethridge, Tyler Smith, Veronica Guillotte, and Alayla Charpentier. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Sandra Wells, Connie Smith, Mary Begneaud (Steve), Paul Smith (Myra), Steve Smith, Doug Stonicher (Rachael), David Stonicher (Sandy), and Mark Stonicher (Barbara), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the service time. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
