Jean Jeanelle Taylor Seals

January 2, 1955 - August 11, 2026

Jean Jeanelle Taylor Seals, age 71 and a resident of Pine, passed away Tuesday morning August 11, 2026 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a longtime active member of Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church that loved the Lord and her church family. She sang with the church’s ladies singing group for many years. Jeanelle worked as a florist and beautician for several years and enjoyed sewing. She loved spending time in the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Jeanelle and her husband had fox hunting dogs and really enjoyed competing in field trials all over the south. She liked traveling on bus tour vacations and visiting the mountains. Jeanelle was forever a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survived by: Husband of 41 years: Horace Seals of Pine; 3 Sons and Daughters in law: Maurice and Jayla Dutruch of Enon, Gary Dutruch, Charles Horace “Hunter” and Taylor Seals all of Pine; Daughter and Son in law: Marsha and Jude Peralta of Tylertown; Grandson: Caleb Seals; Father: Erving Taylor of Bush; Siblings and Spouses: Dodie and Wayne Sharp, Mack “PoJo” and Susie Taylor, Misty Taylor; Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Jean and Donnie Miller, Minnie and Jimmy Dunaway; Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews and their families

Visitation will be at Forest Haven Baptist Church (31153 Conrad Seals Road, Franklinton) on Thursday August 13th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:00 pm Thursday with Eld. Richard Magee, Eld. Yancey Magee, Eld. Edward Penton, and Eld. Travis Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Conrad Seals Family Cemetery.
