Delos Willard Bailey, Jr.

August 30, 1946 ~ August 1, 2026 

Delos Willard Bailey, Jr., age 79, passed away August 1, 2026.  He was born August 30, 1946, to Delos Willard Bailey, Sr. And Myrtle Olsen Bailey in Bogalusa, Louisiana.  As part of a military family, he lived in many states during his childhood.  Montgomery became his home during his high school years.

He was a kind and gentle man, always caring about and willing to help others.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He is survived by his wife of fifty three years, Jan; his sons ,David and Michael (Brooke); grandchildren , Rebecca, Wes, and Dash; his sister Alexia Scott (Robert).

As Delos wished, a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Center Adult Program (CCAP) or Meals on Wheels.
