Barbara Ann Terrebonne Barton
October 29, 1956 - August 4, 2026
Barbara Ann Terrebonne Barton, age 69, widow of Marcus Clinton Barton, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at her home.
Born in Franklinton, LA, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Bobbie Landry Terrebonne. She was employed with Harbor Inn Seafood in Greenville and a member of Beech Springs Church. Barbara was an example of how we should live our lives, loyal to her family with dedication, hard work, and love. She was the epitome of Southern hospitality.
Survivors include her children, Marcus Barton (Brandi), Jennifer Martin (Chadwick), Bobbie Brannon (Robert), Dallas Barton (Cheyenne), Michelle Straub, Amy Barton, and Joseph Barton (Brittany Agee); 9 grandchildren; and siblings, John Terrebonne, Maria Gill (William), Dawn Terrebonne, and Angel Terrebonne.
She was predeceased by grandchildren, William Hood, Danielle Brannon, and Breann Hood and siblings, Joy Coulvillion, Joel, Rose, and Terry Terrebonne.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary Chapel in Pelzer, S.C.
