Angola Prison Rodeo tickets are on sale now for every Sunday in October. Known as the Wildest Show in the South, it’s the longest running prison rodeo in the United States. The rodeo is held at Louisiana State Penitentiary, which is the country’s largest maximum security prison. From the moment you enter the correctional facility gates, to seeing acres of grassy pastures, the smell of fresh air, to the large outdoor arena; rest assured, you're going to have unforgettable moments.
You will get to see inmate-led events like the rodeo performances, live entertainment, concessions, and unique arts and crafts. It's a family-friendly day of fun that also includes activities for the kids, such as pony rides and a carousel.
