The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) reports the arrest on Thursday (July 2, 2026) of 22-year-old Kaden Lewis, a local college student-athlete following a battery incident involving a dating partner on June 23, 2026. Lewis voluntarily turned himself in and was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on one count each of 2nd Degree Battery, False Imprisonment and Simple Criminal Damage to Property.
On June 23, 2026, a woman contacted TPSO to report having been attacked by Lewis at his home on Bridget Road in the Hammond area. The victim had to seek medical attention for her injuries.
Following an investigation, a warrant was obtained for Lewis’ arrest.
