December 21, 1943 - July 3, 2026

Patrick “Pat” J. Crain, age 82 and of Ethel, Louisiana, was called home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2026. Pat was born on December 21, 1943, in Mount Hermon, Louisiana. He married the love of his life, Betty, in 1967, and together they shared 59 wonderful years. Pat was a devoted family man who loved God, his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else. He found great joy in working the land, tending cattle, and spending time outdoors.

Whether he was in the pasture, on a tractor, or gathered with family and friends, Pat was happiest when surrounded by the people and places he loved most. Above all, Pat cherished his family. He took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren, and his greatest satisfaction came from watching them grow and thrive. His family will remember him as a faithful husband, devoted father and grandfather, trusted friend, and a man whose life reflected faith, humility, perseverance, and love.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Clark Crain; his daughter, Donielle Crain Gainous (David); and his son, William Clark Crain (Kandi).
