Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Persons Crimes Unit arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile early Sunday morning (July 26, 2026) in connection with a series of robberies targeting DoorDash delivery drivers in the Lakeshore Villages area near Slidell.
Working alongside STPSO Patrol deputies, detectives determined the juvenile would place DoorDash orders to addresses in and around the Lakeshore Villages neighborhood without prepaying and wait for the deliveries to arrive. When the drivers approached, he would confront them, forcibly take the food and flee the area.
After identifying the suspect, he was taken into custody early Sunday after another DoorDash driver was robbed while attempting to deliver a pizza order in the Lakeshore Villages area late Saturday night.
The juvenile was booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center on three counts of Simple Robbery, one count of First-Degree Robbery and one count of Attempted Simple Robbery.
