Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit and Proactive Enforcement Unit concluded an investigation into crack cocaine distribution with the execution of a search warrant Tuesday (June 23, 2026) at the residence of 62-year-old Bobby Odom in the 3000 block of East Hillcrest Drive in Slidell.
During the search, detectives seized nearly 13 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 5 grams of marijuana, and $2,109 believed to be proceeds from illegal drug activity.
Odom was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for the following offenses:
- 3 counts of L.R.S. 40:967A Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (Cocaine)
- 1 count of L.R.S. 40:967A Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (Cocaine)
- 1 count of L.R.S. 40:966A Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance (Marijuana)
- 1 count of L.R.S. 40:1041 Proceeds from Transactions Involving Drug Offenses
