Pamela Ard

March 13, 1956 - June 4, 2026

Mrs. Pamela Ard was born on March 13, 1956 and passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at University Hospital in Mobile Alabama, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Pam was a beloved teacher at Ben’s Ford Christian School for over 30 years, where she impacted the lives of countless students and was loved by fellow teachers and staff alike.

She was also a faithful member of Ben’s Ford Baptist Church for more than 40 years before moving to Florida to help care for her grandson. Throughout her life, Mrs. Pam consistently put the needs of others before her own, always willing to serve, encourage, and help those around her.

Mrs. Pam will be remembered for her selfless heart, unwavering faith, and the love she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched through her service, kindness, and devotion to the Lord.

She is survived by her son Jeffery Dale Ard  Sr and his wife Amy Ard of Pensacola, Florida her son Marshall (Shack) Delton Ard and his longtime girlfriend Sarah Gauley of Picayune, Mississippi; her grandchildren Summer Ard, Austin (Dale) Ard, Amber Knight, Brittney Ard, Arianna Salter, Jeffery Ard, Jr., Adam (Cade) Ard, and Ashdons Urquhart; her great-grandchildren Kayden Engel, Sahara Medeiros, Sebastian Lou, Khaleesie Salter, Bentley Ard, Andre Knight, Paisley Rester,  Delilah Ard, Jaylen Knight, and Arabella Ard. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Ard, her mother Dorothy Walker, her father Marshall Walker, her brother Huey Walker, and her grandson Zayden Ard.

Visitation will be held at Ben's Ford Baptist Church on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12:00noon until the funeral service time of 2:00p.m. Rev. Caleb Martin, Rev. Lynn Martin and Bro. Jimmy Byrd will officiate the service.  Interment will be held in Rester Cemetery in Varnado, LA.  Pallbearers will be B.J. Salter, John Knight, Timothy Rester, Tyler Rester, Richard Moran, and Mark McGehee.
