The Washington Parish Sheriff's reports that on Wednesday (June 17, 2026, 17-year-old Ashtun Wilson of Bogalusa was arrested, after an extensive investigation into recent burglaries, on charges of attempted burglary. Wilson remains in the Washington Parish Jail with a bond set at $15,000.00.
Since May 1, 2026, four burglaries in the vicinity of Borgne Avenue have been reported to WPSO deputies, with several others reported to the Bogalusa Police.
The investigation is ongoing, and Wilson may receive additional charges.
