Zachary Dean Armijo
September 10, 1990 - April 3, 2026
Zachary Dean Armijo lived every one of his 12,989 days to the absolute fullest, happy, grateful, and without regret. Zach was truly the life and soul of every party always keeping everyone around him, laughing and entertained. Zach had an unwavering love and commitment to his friends and family, and those who knew him felt that deeply. Zach had a way of adapting to any situation he got his goofy self into, handling it all with a smile and humor. People have often asked about Zach’s faith and whether he knew Christ. Those who knew him best would say that Zach loved everyone he ever met. There are many stories of him praying with and over friends going through difficult times. He was caring, sharing, and loving in a way many described as Christ-like in his compassion and kindness toward others. He was known for often saying, Mom… I’m living the dream,” a phrase that perfectly captured his outlook on life and the way he chose to live each day.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25 at Cassidy Park in Bogalusa at 2pm. This will be a southern potluck-style gathering. Please do bring chairs, the Pavillion does not offer seating. Family and friends are invited to bring something to share as we come together to celebrate Zach’s life. The family asks that guests wear casual. Bright happy colors as we honor Zach’s vibrant spirit.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
