Keldrick Devon Hays

Keldrick Devon Hays (“K-Dog”), born December 12, 1990, to his belated mother, Betty Jean Nichols of Bogalusa, LA. He passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Bogalusa, LA.

Keldrick liked to dress nicely, he loved sports, he loved spending time with family and friends. Keldrick was employed by the Toyota Plant until his health failed.

Keldrick leaves to cherish his memories his father, Stanley Nichols, Sr. of California,; beloved sisters, Taqona “Dear”( Derrick) Sanders, Le’Ashia “Shun” Fields, Lisa Powell of Bogalusa, LA., and Kathleen McGriggs of California; cousins, Shirley Ann Craft, Janice Nichols, Anice Moses, Ana Moses, Romona Nichols, Ron Nichols, Mary Walls of Varnado, Jonathan Fields, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA., Kenan Fields, Michael Burton, Jr., Jenea, Jaquintas Smoot of Bogalusa, LA., JaChristta Fields of Texas, Bennie Ruth Miller of Bogalusa, LA.; nieces, Derica Sanders, Diara Sanders, Regeana Powell, Varese Sartin of Bogalusa, LA, Alicia Williams of California; nephew, Mikel Powell of Bogalusa, LA; one aunt, Katherine Lewis of Angie, LA.; uncles, Richard Foster, Larry Nichols, J.C. Nichols, Benny Nichols, Willie Nichols, and Lionel Nichols of Angie, LA and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Nichols; his brothers, Stanley Nichols, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA., and Collins McGriggs of California; his grandparents, Perlie Mae Gibson Hayes, and Rufus B. Hayes, Sr.; two aunts, Gladys Nell Fields and Leslie Rochell Hayes, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA.; and a cousin, Lewelyn (Lucille) Nichols of Varnado, LA.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 3:00PM - 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 1:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Sanders - Officiating.
